A PAIR OF 19th CENTURY SWORD BAYONETS, being 1) a private purchase Pattern 1853 yataghan with 23 in. single edged blade fullered on each side, ricasso stamped with BM bow and arrow mark for Bleckman of Solingen, pressed black leather grips, together with its black leather scabbard with steel fittings, worn, blade with some blinded pitting, cross-guard and pommel pitted, scabbard heavily worn with split stitching, locket loose, 28 1/4 in. overall; 2) a Pattern 1887 Mark I with 18 in. single-edged blade fullered on each side, pressed black leather grips, together with an associated black leather scabbard with brass fittings, heavily worn, steel with rust patches, scabbard not original to the bayonet with a cracked locket, 25 1/4 in. overall
